The Parish Council’s income is in the form of a Precept, collected on our behalf by Buckinghamshire Council. It makes up a small percentage of each Council Tax bill. Some years include larger projects alongside normal running costs; the current increase largely reflects higher costs for services including street-lighting electricity, grass cutting and dog-waste bins.Budget agreed December 2025

Granborough Parish Council’s Small Grants Scheme for 2026 is now closed. Applications normally open annually in early spring for projects, activities, events and initiatives that benefit Granborough residents. Applications for 2027 are expected to open in March 2027. For queries, contact clerk@granborough.org.Qualification
Applicants must be voluntary groups or charities providing a service that clearly and directly benefits a significant number of parish residents. Grants support special events, future running-cost deficits, new groups or one-off expenditure such as equipment. They are only made to organisations needing financial help and cannot cover money already spent.
