Anglian Water main replacement works
Anglian Water plans a £1.4 million project to replace approximately 3.4 kilometres of ageing water mains between Granborough and North Marston. Work is expected from 1 September 2026 until April 2027, although dates may change.
Phased road closures, temporary traffic management and temporary traffic lights will be used. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses within closure areas from one end of the road. The linked presentation explains the scheme in more detail.

Roadworks in and around Granborough
The Parish Council receives roadworks information through one.network. Its live map shows where work is taking place, the traffic management being used, likely delays, expected duration and the organisation carrying out the work. Use the link for current information rather than relying on an older weekly list.
Vandalism and fire damage at Coronation Meadow
A resident extinguished a fire started on the wooden bench beside the lower pond at Coronation Meadow. The incident damaged a public asset and, during dry conditions, could have spread to surrounding grass, wooden play equipment and nearby homes.

Thursday evenings in term time, 7.30pm–8.30pm. School years 5 and above are welcome.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts
All three groups normally run from the sports field in North Marston on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Coffee, Cake and Chat mornings
Held in Granborough Village Hall from 10.15am to noon every other Wednesday. See Pew News for dates. Everyone is welcome.
Oving Tennis Club
Affordable, fun exercise on excellent hard courts with floodlights, catering for all ages.
