Anglian Water main replacement works

Anglian Water main replacement works

Anglian Water plans a £1.4 million project to replace approximately 3.4 kilometres of ageing water mains between Granborough and North Marston. Work is expected from 1 September 2026 until April 2027, although dates may change.
Phased road closures, temporary traffic management and temporary traffic lights will be used. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses within closure areas from one end of the road. The linked presentation explains the scheme in more detail.

Its live map shows where work is taking place, the traffic management being used, likely delays, expected duration and the organisation carrying out the work. Vandalism and fire damage at Coronation Meadow

Vandalism and fire damage at Coronation Meadow

A resident extinguished a fire started on the wooden bench beside the lower pond at Coronation Meadow. The incident damaged a public asset and, during dry conditions, could have spread to surrounding grass, wooden play equipment and nearby homes.
The Parish Council thanks the resident who acted quickly. Anyone with information should contact the Parish Clerk; information can be treated in confidence if requested.
