Welcome to the Granborough Parish Council website.

This site has been developed to give residents access to their Council.

We hope to regularly update these pages to communicate what the Council wishes to achieve throughout the year and what progress is being made on current projects or issues which have been raised.

Buckinghamshire Best Kept Village Competition 2026 - Results

A huge thank you to everyone who helped prepare Granborough for this year’s Buckinghamshire Best Kept Village Competition.

Thanks to the efforts of residents, volunteers and the wider community, Granborough achieved an excellent score of 189 marks in a very competitive category. Congratulations to Aston Abbotts, who won the Gurney Cup with 198 marks.

The judges praised Coronation Meadow and its attractive wildflower areas, the well-maintained play area, our community facilities, the village’s overall appearance, and the strong community engagement demonstrated through the Parish Council website, Facebook page and Church newsletter.

They also identified opportunities to increase floral displays around the village, give some attention to the War Memorial and churchyard, and maintain the pond liners at Coronation Meadow.

We are incredibly proud of what our community achieved this year and grateful to everyone who played a part in helping make Granborough such an attractive place to live and visit.

Granborough Produce Show 2026

Granborough’s much-loved annual Produce Show returns on Saturday 5th September 2026 at the Village Hall.

Whether you grow your own vegetables or flowers, enjoy baking, making preserves, photography or crafts — there is something for everyone to take part in.

🏆 Trophies and cash prizes to be won!

The Produce Show is open to all ages and abilities, and entries can simply be brought along on the day.

Entry Fees
Adults (Age 15 and over): 50p per entry
Children (Age 14 and under): Free
No pre-booking is required — simply turn up on the day and take part.
